Well, the divx connected device needs the server to be running somewhere for the device to work. So if you can run it on your NAS, then that could work. You’d have to install the plugin and have a upnp server running off your NAS too. However, if you are able to run Divx Connected on your NAS, you might as well just add the files/videos directly inside Divx Connected Server.

But I don’t think the DNS-323 is a Windows HTPC. If it’s Linux based, you’re out of luck because Divx Connected Server only runs on Windows so far.

Hi,

Btw does your plugin still need the server software to operate (I suppose we still need to have the computer up and running).

I’m thinking of buying the Divx Connected device but i would like to be able to stream directly from my NAS (DNS-323) and there is no information about the upnp support of the Divx Connected. Would your plugin allow this ?

Do you not know how arranged work “DivX Connected”? Can I connect to the server “DivX Connected” through a browser ?

what is “DivX Conncected Media Player”? Where i can download it? :)
