iDemo 1.0.6 out

Posted on July 6, 2010

In preparation for our iDemo app to be approved by Apple, we just released a new version of iDemo. This includes USB support so you will be able to plug your iDevice with a USB cable into your computer and iDemo will connect to it with a much faster framerate.

And this feature is available for Mac (even 10.5 ppc) & Windows from the get go!

This version also includes support for the latest ScreenSplitr with iOS4 support that we hear is coming out today.

Stay Tuned.

Can you redownload the latest one from the site version 1.0.6.3?
This bug for Leopard was fixed recently.

Could you use http://help.plutinosoft.com to report this problem please?

Nice app, I’ve been playing around with it and looks great, I will buy it soon :P

I know that what I’m about to ask is complicated :P but… and if you develop a plugin for keynote to make “demos” of iphone apps (like in my case) just the same way steve does it? ;)

It would be very very nice ;)

    Thanks.

The demo version is working fine on my iPod touch running iOS4 and on my iPad running iOs 3.2.1. However, the iPad doesn’t ask for permission or display at a proper size and orientation vis-a-vis the iPod touch and iPhone.

I get 2.5 fps with USB cable connected which is better that WiFi but still not good for video. How much faster is Screen Recorder? Is it worth an extra $10.

When connected over USB, ScreenSplitr doesn’t ask for permission.
I don’t know about Screen Recorder but iDemo works with Display Recorder which has a great frame rate over USB. Next version of iDemo will have Display Recorder fixes for orientation and size.

Sounds like Bonjour didn’t get installed. Download iDemo 1.1.0 and try again please.
