101 sucks

Highway 101 sucks! As you guess, I started my new job last week. I was actually surprised to see that I can pretty much get there in 35-40 min in the morning. It was also pretty good timing on the way back at night after 7:30pm. My big mistake was to leave friday night at 6:30pm. HELL NO!
Took me 1h30min. I am better off waiting next time or going to work earlier in the afternoon.
Anyway, besides the traffic, I love the job already. I am working with geniuses and I am going to learn so much. I am already using Eclipse, writing Java and hacking the Palm OS on a crazy device from Sony that only exists in Japan. You can guess my next task is to learn Japanese ’cause this freaking device UI is all in kanji!

I think your blog may be a month off? Either that or you started your new job sooner than I thought. It sounds like the job is fun. Keep us up to date on the cool things you are working on.

I guess I was wrong. You did start your job in December (I read Kelly’s blog) . I thought I remembered you saying that you were not starting until the new year.
