Ok, what were they thinking! This was on the front page when I went there. Please fire the idiot in the marketing department who authorized this ad. I find it repulsing. Of course, now the picture doesn’t come up. Maybe he did get fired.
Today, while reading Paul Graham’s essay on Web 2.0 using my favorite rss reader, I came across this social news aggregator. One of the link pointed to an article about 10 rules for web startups. I really enjoyed it …mmmmm.
It is my pleasure to announce that we are now live from the web! My friend Adam finally convinced me to use Dreamhost instead of my poor homemade linux box. I figured I was paying more in electricity to keep that thing running 24/7 than the cost of hosting it online (not even mentioning the level of noise this thing generates).
OK it’s been a while I haven’t posted but I need to vent a bit right now. I just learned today from my ex-boss N. at Listen/Real that he has been given the shaft. This is quite insane, I just can’t believe it. N. and I have had our share of disagreements for sure but I still respect the man and he surely didn’t deserve this.
Of course I don’t know all the details but for someone who puts his whole heart in a company like RealNetworks, trying to salvage whatever could be salvaged and being thrown like that, this is absurd.
Laying off someone due to financial reasons is one thing but getting rid of someone is another.
I hope that you, all my friends left there, see that as a sign that this company doesn’t and will not respect you or the work you do there. Real (meaning dickhead G.) killed the spirit behind Rhapsody. Leave before they kill you.

So this week-end, we were in New York for a business trip. Kelly and I were walking and something caught my attention. A giant PSP! So I got closer and you’re not going to believe what I saw. Maybe we should mention it to someone at Sony?
